FROST McGAHEY
Course facilitator Frost McGahey offers courses such as, William Shakespeare: An Unauthorized Biography in Words and Film, and was surprised when her course filled by the time of the Sign-up Social. Her very first course had only three participants, but that was back in 2006 when WILL was in only its second semester. Since then her reputation has spread.

Other courses Frost facilitated include King Lear, War and Peace, and Paradise Lost. She wrote and produced two plays for WILL: Who Invited Falstaff? and Cakes and Ale with Shakespeare. A WILL member, when asked why she enrolled in a Shakespeare course, said that she wasn't particularly enamored with Shakespeare, but heard that Frost was such a wonderful teacher.

Frost retired to Silver City from Breckenridge, CO where she owned an insurance agency specializing in businesses. When she decided to enroll at WNMU to pursue an MBA, she began taking literature courses as well. That was her road to Shakespeare and beyond, and WILL members continue to reap the harvest of her passion for teaching what she loves.

And therein lies the tale.
